002 | Cherrygrove City | Action;
[After a productive (but admittedly somewhat boring) five hours of work sorting and filing papers at the Cherrygrove Pokémon Center, it's finally time for Yagyuu to head for home--or at least, for the room at the Cherrygrove Inn he's been sharing with Kirihara-kun since they both arrived in the city yesterday. He'd gladly work longer hours if they'd let him, but the rules are strict for minors, and so he's being cheerfully shooed out as soon as his time is up for the day.
As a result, anyone in the vicinity of the Center in Cherrygrove will probably see him exiting the front doors, his Breeder's Manual already open in one hand for casual perusal as he starts his walk back toward the inn. Strangely, he doesn't seem to have any Pokémon with him, though he does have his backpack slung casually over his shoulder like a model student might.
All things considered, he's not hard to spot, both from his lack of visible Pokémon and his bright yellow Rikkai jersey with the collar popped up at the neck. Which means he's also a prime target for bothering, should anyone feel so inclined.]

[action] D: <- his face forever
Great.]
It...ah, appears you've mistaken me for someone else, yes.
[action] ALL THE AWKWARD, ALL OF IT
Yes, yes, you look just like one of my friends, I'm so sorry!
[action]
...You wouldn't happen to be acquainted with someone by the name of Kihara Atsuro, would you?
[action]
Y-yeah... He's a friend from home...
[action]
It seems I have a doppelganger in your Keisuke-kun, then. It's a mistake you both made.
[action]
Yeah... But I bet he didn't tackle you, he's in Cianwood... I'm... I'm really, really sorry...
[action]
[He's trying to be magnanimous about the whole thing, really, but it's slightly easier said than done.]
What's done is done, I suppose. Perhaps we should try introductions the proper way, instead?
[action]
Erm... R-right... I'm Midori Komaki, and this is Daijiro...

[action]
[DON'T LOOK AT HIM LIKE THAT, GLARING DOG CREATURE.]
[OOC: Also, I'm sorry, this is my fail--I have a bad habit of introducing in Eastern order, family name first. Yagyuu's his family name, Hiroshi his given. o/]
[action]
[AND THE GLARING DOG CREATURE WILL CONTINUE AS LONG AS MIDORI CONTINUES LOOKING SAD.]
[Oh, alright! :D I'll fix my error there in the future~]
[action]
It's clear miss your friend very much. I'm sure he's lucky to have you as one.
[I'll try to break that habit in the future, too. o/]
[action]
Back home, he protected me even when he was sure it would get him killed... And kept protecting me even when I was making stupid mistakes... He's a special kind of person.
[TEAM EFFORT!]
[action]
[And compliments usually work to settle distraught girls.]
[action]
[Oh, yes. BUT SHE'S BEING SAD ABOUT KEISUKE NOW. ALTHOUGH THAT IS FAR MORE MANAGEABLE.]
[action]
[As he makes at least a valiant attempt at sounding understanding.]
[action]
[action]
Of course. Perhaps a different topic of conversation altogether would be better. Where are you heading, Komaki-san?
