Two years. And to think I was told my stay here had a good chance of being 'temporary'.

Still, I suppose ferrying a small batch of unadopted Pokemon eggs over to Souji-kun's Breeding Center and then spending the rest of the day in the comfort of what's come to be my "own home" is still preferable to spending it mass-evolving a brood of six rambunctious Eevees, and decidedly superior to the circumstances new trainers customarily find themselves in when they first arrive.

It's a small concession, I suppose, to the much more desirable option of returning home properly — but then, I suppose Johto does have its certain advantages as well.

Still I'm sure they've picked a few behaviors up from him, so you have my sympathy anyway.

I'm not sure what it is, really.
It may be that by the time I reach a certain area, I have already obtained the Pokemon I would have been interested in catching some other way.

Is that how it is? I think there are advantages to both methods, really; a wild Pokemon is more efficient in that it's of a stronger level from the start, but raising one from an egg allows for a more thorough shaping of its demeanor.

Admittedly, I really enjoy raising the Pokemon from when they hatch.
Though that's not strictly keeping me from catching them.

Well, I admit, I am still in search of good homes for another few eggs, but with you having raised so many already, I'll spare you the obligatory solicitation — surely you wouldn't be interested in another.

Mmm, that would depend on what sorts of eggs you have available, actually.

At present, I'm taking a batch of Mareep, Miltank, Shinx, Remoraid, Slowpoke, Stantler, and I believe Vulpix over to the Breeding Center. It's a fair assortment.

I might actually be interested in a Slowpoke egg.

I'd be more than happy to oblige you, if you'd care to take one. They're a bit simple, understandably, but these ones do come with a fairly interesting moveset, as Slowpokes go.

And simple is quite alright. I've worked with a multitude of different types of Pokemon at this point, there is nothing wrong with adding simple to that list.

Then by all means, let me oblige you. I'm grateful for it myself; it's one less egg to worry about, really.
